Teen from Nevada in the running to win a $30,000 scholarship from the vfw!
microphone and American flagDear Robert,
High school students from across the country recorded audio-essays to share "Why I'm Optimistic About Our Nation's Future."

Hear what they had to say
.
It's all part of the VFW's Voice of Democracy competition, in which high school students compete for more than $2.2 million in scholarships and incentives.

One lucky winner from each state will qualify for the grand prize, a $30,000 scholarship to the college or trade school of their choice.

The grand-prize winner will be announced on Monday, March 3, at the VFW Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. Sign up to receive an alert when the winner is announced or tune in at 6 p.m. (ET), Monday, March 3, for a live stream of the Parade of Winners at vfw.org/conference.
Show your support for these patriotic teens by sharing their audio clips with your friends and family.

Together, we can celebrate the next generation of proud Americans!
